Terms of Service
MusiCal is a free concert calendar offered by Tyler Barnes (an individual). Using MusiCal means you agree to the terms below. They're short on purpose.
What MusiCal is
A live calendar of upcoming concerts in supported metro areas, with an optional Spotify integration that highlights shows by artists you listen to. Concert data is aggregated from third-party sources (Songkick, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek) and may contain errors, omissions, or stale listings.
What you agree not to do
- Don't scrape, automate, or hammer MusiCal in ways that degrade the service for others.
- Don't try to break in, impersonate other users, or interfere with infrastructure.
- Don't use MusiCal to send spam or harass anyone.
- Don't sign in with someone else's email.
If MusiCal becomes broadly useful and someone wants commercial-level access, get in touch — but until then, please treat it like a small hobby project shared in good faith.
Accuracy of information
Concert dates, times, prices, sold-out states, and venue details come from third parties. We do our best to surface accurate, current information — but always confirm directly with the venue or ticket seller before traveling or buying. MusiCal is not responsible for missed shows, refunds, or any losses from acting on calendar information.
Spotify integration
Connecting Spotify is optional. If you connect, MusiCal reads only the artist data it needs to power the "Only show my artists" filter. You can disconnect at any time from the Streaming filters card, which wipes the Spotify data we hold on you. You can also revoke MusiCal's access from your Spotify account at spotify.com/account/apps.
Service availability
MusiCal is provided "as is." It may be slow, broken, or unavailable. Source APIs we depend on may block us. Features may change or disappear. Treat it like a side project from a friend — because it is.
Account termination
You can delete your account any time from the UI. We can also suspend or delete accounts that abuse the service, violate these terms, or pose a risk to other users or infrastructure.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material, we'll bump the date at the top. Continuing to use MusiCal means you accept the updated terms.
